Money and the Mint in World War II

Discover what life was like for Royal Mint workers during the turbulent years of World War II.
In our new workshop, students will learn how to calculate pre-decimal money using real historical coins, find out about rationing and practice budgeting using our immersive War Time Shopping activity.

We welcome visits for foundation stage (ages 4 to 5) through to primary school, Key stage 1 and 2 (ages 6 to 11) and then tailored talks for Secondary School and higher education for key stages 3 and above (age 12+)
