2012 Elizabeth II Gold Proof Sovereign
Struck in 2012 to celebrate the Diamond Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II, this Gold Proof Sovereign marks 60 years since Her Majesty’s accession to the throne. Created for one year only, it is a distinctive commemorative edition within the modern Sovereign series and a lasting tribute to a historic royal milestone.
For this special issue, The Royal Mint introduced a new interpretation of St George and the dragon by the British sculptor Paul Day. Moving away from the familiar classical style, Day presents St George as a medieval knight of Arthurian legend, while the enlarged dragon brings drama and tension to the design. The detailed composition rewards a closer look, making this reverse a particularly engaging feature for collectors.

A Celebration of the Life of Sir Winston Churchill Collector Set
Sir Winston Churchill is known as the leader of Britain’s coalition government during the Second World War and one of the nation’s most memorable prime ministers. However, it was the experiences of his younger years that influenced the man he would later become. Towards the end of the nineteenth century, Churchill served in the Queen’s 4th Hussars, whilst young Churchill also worked as a war correspondent that led to his love of writing.
This Collector Set brings together a sterling silver medal, a silver 2024 UK £2 silver Proof coin and several historic coins dated 1965, the year that Churchill passed away. The historic coins include a 1965 Churchill crown along with a half-crown, florin, English shilling, Scottish shilling, sixpence, threepence, penny and halfpenny. Featuring the edge inscription ‘· PAVE THE WAY FOR PEACE AND FREEDOM’ from one of Churchill’s many famous speeches, the £2 coin is not available to purchase individually

Charles I Gold Unite
Struck at the Tower of London during Charles I’s reign, this gold Unite is a remarkable early Stuart coin and an important piece of British numismatic history. Issued in around 1625, it belongs to the first bust type of Charles I and displays the distinctive portrait style used at the beginning of his rule.
The obverse features the first crowned bust of King Charles I facing left, accompanied by the Latin legend CAROLVS D.G. MAG BR FR ET HI REX, which translates as “Charles, by the Grace of God, King of Great Britain, France and Ireland.” The portrait is bold and formal, capturing the authority of a new reign at a time when the monarchy was seeking to project strength and continuity.
