Where is The Royal Mint Vault located?

The Vault® is located at The Royal Mint’s high-security site in South Wales.

The purpose-built bullion vault was constructed in 1986, during the Cold War, when the Ministry of Defence was responsible for guarding the site.

The Vault® meets Federal Standard 832 Class A, a security standard used by the US government for storing classified materials and weapons.
